01 February: Formula 1 Testing - Valencia - Day 3
MotoGP Champion Valentino Rossi managed a few more laps that yesterday and set the 9th fastest time in the F2004. There were several red flags during the session. Fernando Alonso stopped on the track in the morning with an electrical problem, Webber has a gearbox problem, Wurz suffered a fuel pump failure and David Coulthard had his running cut short due to an engine change. Juan Pablo Montoya took over from Kimi Raikkonen who suffers from a cold. Weather conditions were sunny with air temperature reaching 20 degrees while track temperature reached 25 degrees.
