18 January: Formula 1 Testing - Jerez - Day 7 - Valencia - Day 2
Running again started late allowing for the track to warm up. Weather conditions were cold but sunny. Air temperature reached 16 degrees while track temperatures reached 23 degrees. McLaren have concluded testing at Jerez. Toyota, Williams and Honda continue testing tomorrow. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, Day 7, Day 8, Day 9 At Valencia, the new BMW Sauber F1 team continued their private test session. Nick Heidfeld driving the F1.06 set the fastest time of the day with a 1:12.440. Team-mate Jacques Villeneuve gets to drive the F1.06 tomorrow. Testing continues tomorrow.
