How will the small teams survive with such reliability?

Post by Andre_Brasil » Fri Mar 04, 2005 8:48 am

I am expecting a more competitive season and I thing Renault, McLaren and Ferrari will be a step ahead of the others.

Williams, BAR and Sauber will fight for 7th and 8th places.

With reliability being a target I can not foresee any possibilities of points to Toyota, Red Bull, Minardi and Jordan.

Oh... of course Montoya and Kimi can find each other on the track!

We are all hoping for the same (especially julian otherwise he'll go watch the boats  )

The reliability will be high but maybe the pileups will be high too (with so many egos scattered all over the grid)

It is make or break year for Toyota so they have to come up with something
Maybe dump their drivers for a start

But I never knew Toyota are counted as a small team :rolling:

Any tips for Melbourne

:welcome:
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

Toyota's budget is huge!

But they think small...

their chassis sucks. Da Matta said that and was fired. Time & results proved he was right.

Heads will roll in 2005... german ones.

Hey Andre, Its nice to see you here.U've been missing.

Guys how does it matter if the reliability of the small teams like Minardi or Jordan is affected...i think it would make sence for these teams to change their engines every race, take the penalty(as if it matter to them) and u never know ...they would score points every alternate races(every 2nd race of the engine) when all the top teams would be trying to preserve their engines

C'mon Jordan and Minardi :drink:

I think you might see some of the larger teams employing that tactic at various stages of the season, Kappy

Michael may even do that in Melbourne. He won't be any higher than 18th so why not throw a new engine after Q tomorrow. Sato and Massa may do the same thing and he'll end up 18th anyway (I think)

All these rules are so confusing :?
