Fifth : Michael Schumacher - Just not on the pace
Sixth : Jenson Button - Honda Japan
Seventh : Takuma Sato - Honda Japan
Eighth : Mark Webber - Might as well finish with a point

If it is going to be a wet race, it will have some bearing on my picks, yes .Ie Fisi for the win.

Strategy, nah, it is a talent one is born with. :D

Cheerio Chaps! Soon there'll be nothing to do but wait out the Christmas Holiday until we can get to V-8 testing. It's good Alonso the Cute got his title this year because I'm hearing they're having trouble with vibrations at the old Renault shed! Gonna have to wind it down a tad and hoping everyone else's is in same boat. Wish I knew what was up at Maranello. Meanwhle Cosworth's Mr. K. is grinning broadly. Maybe Sir Frank will get a break next year. Of course, he'll need to hire a race driver, too.

So now that we're going to have a Honda TEAM, will the boardroom at Toyota commit mass seppku? Or will they finally hire someone to run the shop for them? Ah the joys of paying some one multiple millions because he shares DNA with a WDC.

But enough of this trivia; it's time for my picks for the week-end:

1. Kimi --because he's sure to have good luck now that he doesn't need it!
2. JPM --because Ron told him "we have to finish BOTH cars for the Mfctr's trophy; so don't do anything foolish!!"
3. Fernando --because his is the next fastest car
4. Jenson Button --because it's Japan
5. Michael --because he always delivers, no matter how bad the car
6. Ralph --because it's time for him to whine about Michael again
7. David Coulthard --because he's damn well earned it!
8. Jarno Trulli --because he needs all the points he can get
the Pole, naturally, will be Kimi --and I expect it to be by a mile!

Weather? Who cares about the weather; at this point everyone's thinking about next year anyway...

cheers from INDY

I could have made an error in judgement not picking either of the Toyota's. Not to worry. We will leave it as it stands.
