Question: What was the first motorsports event held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway?

Answer: Surprisingly, it wasn't "the Greatest Spectacle in Racing", the Indy 500, but a motorcycle race back in 1909......speaking of which, for the first time in nearly a century, motorcycle road racing returns to the Brickyard!

Event: Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix
Where: Indianapolis Motor Speedway
When: 12-14 Sept. 2008

----after two sessions in wet conditions, teams finally got a dry-weather session prior to today's qualifications and, as usual, most of the usual suspects were to be found(Rossi, Hayden, Pedrosa.....)...surprisingly, the fastest rider in session #3 was the satellite Ducati of Toni Elias
