Will McLaren win for Monaco this year?

Post by uwantsth » Tue May 20, 2008 11:49 am

Grand Prix De Monaco, well known for its narrow track. It appears to be the winner will always be from the pole position as the past few years results have shown.

Last year, McLaren dominated the track. All racer except Massa from Ferrari, ends the race with at least a lap different. Even Massa ends the race at a difference of 69.1 secs from Alonso, the winner.

However, Alonso, the winner for past two years is no longer in McLaren, and Ferrari great performace for the last few face. Will McLaren continue its dominating power in Monaco?

Who do you think will grab the pole position for the upcoming Monaco race?

Predicting pole with the fuel rules in qualifying is going to be hard. Hamilton, Kimi or Massa should be safe picks but who knows what fuel teams are going to have. BMW might be super light. in my 8'n'pole picks I have gone for Kimi.

As for the race any driver out of Ferrari, McLaren or BMW will have a good chance.

Going by the level of domination McLaren had last year, I expect them to be strong, I hope it is Kovalainen though who wins!!

Not too sure about the light fuel loads, in Monaco overtaking is extremely difficult and if someone is light they will be stuck behind slower cars once they stop. I suppose one could take a gamble hoping for a safety car or something like that to confuse everyone!!

I expect to see Alonso on the podium :D :D
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

I would expect to see MW & FA right up there this weekend....This is a circuit that levels the teams and rewards the better drivers...Someone like Kubica i reckon would be a good roughie
