This is the place to discuss everything related to the fifteenth round of the 2007 season taking place at Fuji between the 28th and 30th of September.

The event timetable for the Japanese Grand Prix.

Friday
1st Practice 10:00 local time - 01:00 GMT
2nd Practice 14:00 local time - 05:00 GMT

Saturday
Practice 11:00 local time - 02:00 GMT
Qualifying 14:00 local time - 05:00 GMT

Sunday
Race 13:30 local time - 04:30 GMT

1st Friday practice session underway!

Weather conditions are partly cloudy and humid!

Air temperature is 26 degrees while track temperature is 44 degrees.

At the moment only 5 drivers have set lap times with Ralf Schumacher fastest ahead of Jarno Trulli however a number of other dirvers are on the track including Hamilton!

Alonso second with a 1:21.152. Much slower than Hamilton!

Kovalainen now 3rd as the 2 Ferraris head out!

Massa intially posts 7th fastest and is now in 4th with a 1:20.922

Hamilton pits after 7 laps while Alonso pits after 6. Alonso has traffic on his final lap.

Massa goes fastest with a 1:19.811

Raikkonen seems to be struggling down in 17th! He is on a quick lap now though

There is a significant difference in top speeds as each team starts with a different base setup. At the moment Webber is fastest at the speed trap with a top speed of 334 while of the top 2 teams only Raikkonen is 6th with a top speed of 317!
