Predict Fastest Lap - '07 Spanish GP - Julian Mayo closest!

Post by Tim » Tue May 08, 2007 7:07 pm

Predict the Fastest Lap time for the 2007 Spanish Grand Prix.

If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect (+/- 0.1 seconds), we'll give away a prize. (A choice between an Digital Alarm Clock and a Stopwatch).
And an even better prize if you get the time and the driver (A pair of Binoculars) and better still if you get the time, the driver and the lap number (A USD $100 instant gift certificate or equavilent from a choice of suppliers!)

Please include the time to the 1000's of a second, the driver and the lap number. You can if you wish include a wet time as well

Please note that the track has been modified making the times from the previous years irrelevant.

During the last test (last week), the fastest time was a 1:21.066 by David Coulthard.

The Fine Print
One entry (dry and wet) per user with one change per condition allowed. Entries close prior to the start of qualifying session on Saturday
The winner will be the one who manages to predict the closest time. You need to be within 0.1 seconds of the fastest lap time to be declared the winner.
In case of two players predicting the same time and driver, the player who submitted earlier will be the winner.
Changing time and/or driver is allowed only once and the change cannot be a max or min to try and gain advantage (eg. if the highest fastest time posted is a 1:45.345, a player cannot change their time to a time above that)

Just 0.647 seconds off the actual time. The closest but not close enough for a prize. You also got the driver and was pretty close to the actual lap. Well done Julian Mayo.
