With Peugeot's decision to reenter prototype sportscar racing in 2007 w/an assault on the Circuit de la Sarthe and the 24 Hrs. of LeMans, here are some highlights from the 1992 running. That year's 24 was especially interesting since it was the last year of the Group C/GTP era of international sportscar racing(things went reportedly south faster than did the CART-IRL split...... ............). Anyway, here is the link for the first part of highlights of the 1992 24 Hrs. of LeMans when Peugeot IIRC last competed there.

Very true; Peugeot's got a great driver lineup, but the LMP-1 class at the 24 Hrs.'ll be a bit crowded(let's see......there's the dominant team of recent memory, Audi Sport and their Audi R10 TDI.......then's there Henri Pescarolo and his team of Pescarolo/Judd prototypes; there's also Creation Autosportif, and so on...... ). It should be an interesting class to watch, though. _________________ The Sci-Fi Station Come by and visit when you get the chance. The Wayward Tarheel I'm even in the blogosphere....

If memory serves Villeneuve and Lamy will drive one car whereas Bourdais and co. will take the other... Maybe they won't be able to beat the Audis just yet but I have confidence in them for 2008. _________________ In the beginning the Universe was created.
