Sep.14 (GMM) Ferrari has elected to change Felipe Massa's engine ahead of the Italian grand prix.
Recent reliability problems have troubled the Italian team, failures for both drivers in recent races forcing them to adopt a new cooling system for Belgium.Engineers, however, apparently found a problem with title challenger Massa's engine after qualifying.Having not had an engine change thus far in 2008, Ferrari took advantage of the rules allowing the team to switch one engine per season without penalty. It means the Brazilian will start the Monza race from sixth on the grid with a fresh engine, while title rivals Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton start 14th and 15th respectively.
