Jun.6 (GMM) BMW-Sauber's struggling Nick Heidfeld has dismissed suggestions he might lose his seat at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old German is under contract to the Hinwil based team through the end of 2009, but he has notably struggled to keep up with his on-form teammate Robert Kubica so far this year. But at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve ahead of the Canadian grand prix, Heidfeld insisted that he is not worried about dropping out of formula one because of his performance slump."If this was my first season, I would probably be having a problem now," he is quoted as saying in Montreal by the news agency SID."But the team knows that I still have the speed," Heidfeld added.
