May 6 (GMM) Australian pop singer and TV personality Dannii Minogue on Tuesday played down reports that she is romantically involved with McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton.

The 36-year-old was engaged to Jacques Villeneuve in his BAR-Honda days, and it is now reported that Minogue has been invited on a 'date' with Briton Hamilton, 23, during the forthcoming Monaco GP weekend.

But she insists: "I don't fancy him, no."

Minogue confirmed that, since meeting Hamilton in Melbourne in March, they have been "texting" each other and arranged to meet up at Monte Carlo.

"So if that's a date, then we're going on a date," she added.
