...and I am curious as to who, out of the current field that raced at Indy, do you think will be back for the 100th running Indy 500??
Well, T-K.....hopefully there'll be one merged series(and the way things go sometimes......we might just see you in the 500!!)
As for the drivers in the 90th running....who do I think will still be around?
(by order of finish......)
Hornish, Jr.--if he doesn't leave for NASCAR, he'll be there
Marco--if he doesn't head over for Formula 1, he'll be there
Michael--might be a little too old for the 500 by then
Wheldon--definitely
Kanaan--definitely
Dixon--of course
Franchitti--of course
Patrick--yeah, she'll be there
Sharp--maybe
Meira--hopefully he'll have won a few races by then
Carpenter--only if his stepdad needs a fieldfiller for the race
B. Lazier--maybe
Cheever--hopefully not
Papis--if they can pry him away from Grand-Am
Matsurra--probably
Yasukawa--hopefully not
J. Lazier--don't think so
Dare--only if Foyt needs to "bump" someone out of the field
Jones--granted, he's Parnelli's son, but....probably not
Herta--maybe
Giaffone--read line next to Dare
Bell--maybe
Simmons--probably
Unser, Jr.--maybe, maybe not
Castroneves--definitely
Rice--definitely
Scheckter--definitely
Luyendyk, jr--the "Flying Dutchman" he ain't
Gregoire--read line next to Dare
Foyt--read line next to Carpenter and substitute Foyt's name for TG
Medieros--maybe
as for the last two........when they pry the hands of Bucknum and Chesson off of the other guys' neck, maybe(those two wrecked each other after only 2 laps)
