Hey mates!!
what do you think about the Rossi challenge to a duel to Alonso??

I bloody liked it!!!!!

here his words:
"I read that if Alonso is able to make some practise then he can put a MotoGP bike on the podium with me," Rossi told Motor Cycle News.

"Well, I think we should drive a Formula One car, a World Rally car and a MotoGP bike, add the times together and then we will see who is the fastest."

let's see what Alonso has to say to that!!!!

Yes.... ....yeeessss... ......maybe we can add in a sword tossing competition and a fight to the death.......


But yeah...I think it is a brilliant idea....Although I think that Rossi would take it though, (Wait JV...hear me out).......Rossi has done testing in a F1 car(and wasnt too slow), in a Rally car(I dont know the outcome of that), and he has won more championships on a MotoGP bike than I can even count to.......Fonzi has only driven an F1 car(with one championship to his name)...Who do you think has the advantage

Yeah I think Rossi would take it. He has more experience in other types of motor racing. Still it would be good to watch.

On another note, I am sure if we just sent both of them of to the little boys room they can compare sizes and be done with it. That is what this is all about after all.

Rossi is just stirring up the pot so that he gets a major ride when he makes the jump to F1!!!

The result would have been a clear win for VALENTINO, not because he is better but because it would have been not only hard but also very risky for FERNANDO to take the MotoGP to the limit.

I think VALENTINO would be easily 5sec per lap faster on the bike and only 1-2sec slower in the F1. In the WRC they might be comparative.

After all VALENTINO has far more experience in the F1 than FERNANDO on a MotoGP...

An unfair bet it would seem and I suppose every F1 race driver would decline it. Maybe except DAMON HILL...

We can't actually be sure Fernando has no experience on a bike. He may be a closet Biker for all we know and if you've got the experience of going fast in an F1 car your not likely to be hanging around on your bike are you? In all probability he could become competitive given enough time in the saddle.

Rossi has made a taunting remark on Alonso's refusal for a 3 way challenge..

He made a statement saying "Alonso has refused cos he has done his calculations and knows he's gonna lose" He has also said that Alonso would be at least 12 sec slower than him on the bike.

12sec!! in Alonso's place i'd make a closed MotoGP test, at least. After all he is our goddamn CHAMP he has to make himself respected!! Show him Alonso!!!
