You make fun of Button yet Webber isn't that far behind with the number of races without a win. And if you look at podiums, Button is at 12% while Webber is at 1.5%
Yeah, but JB was in one of the top cars for all those podiums he got, whereas MW has yet to be in one. Except Monaco 05.

I must admit that Button was in generally better cars than Webber (it would be naive to claim otherwise

)
But what were those top cars Button was driving ?

That being the BAR of 04 obviously. Compared to MW's Jaguar there is a difference, don't you think?

Pick the post you want to reply to, let your eyes drift to the right and you'll see a quote thingie that looks clickable.
Ah, the BAR of 04 didn't win any races but it was better than the Jagaur I agree.
BUT in 04 JPM won in the Williams at the last race. Webber jumped to Williams the following year.
AND DC went to Red Bull in 2005, the same team Webber jumped from the previous year and DC scored 3 times as much as Webber did a year earlier
Sure Webber was unlucky, not only did he move to Williams as they were starting to go down but also left Jaguar/Red Bull as they were starting to go up.
Naive I know

Why speculate if the Honda was good . . . in a little over 2 months, we will know it has been good for a LOONNGGG time. . . just with a guy that cant drive fast, and a guy that cant drive at all.
Rubens will take the award for most improved in 06, followed by MW by a cats whisker. And Blinkybill will become the most intelligent and respect F1 commentator around . . . 1 step closer to world domination . . . 1 step closer

I think Webber and Button are gonna be at each others throats this sesson and this thread is gonna be buzzin'

:burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout:
I predict Button will silence the septics once and for all this season, he won't win the championship but his gonna be strong and it would be too embarrassing to lose out to Webber in a Williams.

It would be career ending wouldn't it

I didn't realise the yanks had it in for him??
I doubt losing to MW in a Williams would be career ending for JB even if RB completely outdrives him.

No, but it will reduce his contract price to about 3 roubles for next year

Looking at both drivers, I'd say Webber will do better...
Why? If you compare, say, Webber to teammate Heidfield, as opposed to Button vs. Barrichello, I think Webber will do better than Button, since Barrichello will likely outperform Button. Then again....who'd thought Barrichello would leave Ferrari after so many years?
