McLaren to test in interim Orange livery

Team McLaren Mercedes announced today that they will be commencing their 2006 testing on Wednesday at Jerez. 2 MP4-20 cars will be running with the interim Orange livery until the new McLaren livery is unvieled in mid February.

Wouldn't look right, rah........Benson & Hedges was one of Midland(Jordan)'s main sponsors for awhile.

Indeed Julian, the orange is synonymous with the origins of McLaren, as the team ran its Formula One and CAN-AM racers in the colour for a number of years starting with the M5A in 1968.
