There is talk that Sato will be benched, and Davison will get the drive 8)

I hope so. Davidson deserves at least 1 shot this year in an F1 race(hopefully, it will last longer than Malaysia, where he was gone after, what, 2 laps?).

I reckon most of the grid will be very relieved if Davo is at the wheel. Who has NOT been hit by "Kamikaze Sato" in the last 2 seasons.

I am amazed, so far no one has picked za Bambino driver. I knew he'd be forgotten very quickly

Here are my picks to win the title of Best F1 Idiot :D

Winner: Fernando Alonso (A single-race engine will make him untouchable)
Second: Juan Pablo Montoya (New engine gives him the edge over Raikkonen but makes an extra pit stop for some noodles  )
Third: Kimi Raikkonen (That is all he can do with a rev limited Merc - Sorry I meant Ilmor Jim!)
Fourth: Giancarlo Fisichella (With all the luck in the world he finished 2nd, he'll have average luck here :D )
Fifth: Jenson Button (That is were I think he'll finish)
Sixth: Mark Webber (Don't know if this will jinx him!!)
Seventh: Jarno Trulli (Will be praying Sato is no where near the track!!)
Eighth: Rubens Barrichello (Really! I know this is a gamble but if it works!!)
Pole: Fernando Alonso (It won't rain)

As I noted elsewhere, I've been so busy this week I didn't get to put in a new list. But (except for the Pole) last week's list will do as well for this week:

1. Kimi (to give him 8 wins to Fernando's 6 and so keep the argument going!)
2. Juan Pablo (unless the Kamikaze finds a way to cut across a chicane and ram him!)
3. Fernando (because he'll be pushing as hard as he can to catch Kimi)
4. Jenson (because he should have a HUGE HORSEPOWER advantage)
5. Michael (because he's a great racer)
6. Ralph (because he sometimes has a good day)
7. David Coulthard (because he knows how to get points)
8. Jarno (because Fisichella will still be shell-shocked from last week!)
Pole: Kimi (actually I don't expect this to be; surely he'll "blow" the engine today and have a fresh one for the race; it doesn't matter if he starts in the parking lot, you know, he knows how to get there for the flag)

Be funny if I do better when I'm stuck with last week's picks -- but it wouldn't be the first time!

again, congrats to Jay Vee; we should all just wait for his posting and then turn ours in! :D
