ED, any data on the Turkish track ? I have managed to find 2 ordinary photos of an incomplete circuit. Is it high or low downforce? The long range forecast is low to mid 20s all weekend , humidity about 60%, a tad windy..

julian,
As most of the modern circuits it will be a compromise between the slow corners and the back and main straights. Speeds on the back straight are expected to reach 320 km/H.
Cars are expected to have a high downforce configuration.
The track has a number of elevation changes
It is expected to be hot around 30 degrees and given the tarmac's deep black the track temperatures could reach 50 degrees.
For aerial images of the track go to
the Istanbul F1 site (also available from the Links section on NewsOnF1

)
The race preview will be available today

Does anyone have or know about the 1998 Grand Prix Legends simulator - based on the 1967 F1 season?
Cars - Brabhan, Lotus, Ferrari, Eagle, Honda, Cooper, BRM.
Tracks - Nurburgring, Spa (incredible), Rouen, Zandvoort, Kyalami, Mosport, Watkins Glen, Silverstone, Monaco, Monza, Mexico.
If you dont have it I assure you you want it!

Incidently (and unfortunately) it is still the best road racing simulator for the masses 7 years on.

I think the tracks ok. Looks for some overtaking.
I hope we never lose SPA.
Cheers!

Given that I experienced a short period when everything was dark, ( I assume that was night and or sleep), then "today" is now yesterday!
