Great minds think alike, Jido :)

I'm going by recent race form. Button did very well to get 3rd after an awful start in Barcelona which put him back to 10th, and in Monaco he could've/should've won if the strategy hadn't been bizarre *and* the race hadn't been red flagged.

:D We'll see Thadeus & Jido! :D

I've lost too many points betting against Seb's luck this year :x

Vettel, like Shuey in his great days, has not only terrific skills, but even better, he has the luck of the great ones! 8) 8)

Without the luck, you can manage a decent career (Raikkonen, Webber, Button, Kubica) but you just can't get the ring

So. Here's my picks. (Even tho' I know RBR took a pasting in Montreal last year, I don't see a repeat in the offing)

:1st: for the fifth time this year from the pole: Seb. Vettel in the class car of the field, the lovely, the slick and the speedy RBR! :1st: :bouncec:

:2nd: Hamilton; he'll be huffing and he'll be puffing, but this year he'll be a step down! The car, of course, is the evil McLaren, arch enemy of the tifosi!

:3rd: Webber will be the bridesmaid yet again, assuming his crew don't manage to lose a wheel!

And FOURTH will go to THE BEST DRIVER ON THE GRID in the worst Ferrari in years: FERNANDO ALONSO, if he has to push it across the line!

FIFTH place will belong to JENSON BUTTON in the other evil Mclaren :zzzz:

SIXTH place will be QUICK NICK Heidfeld's in the decent Renault

SEVENTH place will be Kamui Kobayashi's strange looking Sauber --he's quickly becoming a favorite of mine for his Lewis Hamilton style daring :D :D

EIGHTH (and what SHOULD BE the final points position) will go to VITALY PETROV in the other Renault --unless his crew is asleep at the switch :| :|

NINTH PLACE (points for NINTH!!...another crazy idea of Mr. E's :furious:) will go to Sergio Perez in the other odd looking Sauber

AND the BOOBY PRIZE TENTH SPOT WILL BELONG, FITTINGLY, TO THE OTHER FERRARI DRIVER, little Phil Massa :alright: :alright:

THE POLE!? AS I SAID ABOVE, will belong to SEBASTIAN VETTEL :burnout:

I think this will be a GREAT RACE, lots of strategy and lots of good driving!!

I am with Jim on this one. My heart doesn't want it to be SV but I have lost too many points this year betting against him..... so........ here are my picks.

Winner: Sebastian Vettel ~ unfortunately too darn good

Second: Lewis Hamilton ~ Will hopefully control himself this weekend

Third: Mark Webber ~ Always the bridesmaid lately

Fourth: Fernando Alonso ~ determination

Fifth: Jenson Button ~ not sure why

Sixth: Nico Rosberg ~ still better than his more experienced teammate.

Seventh: Felipe Massa ~ Fighting his old foe for his honour

Eighth: Michael Schumacher ~ Knows the circuit

Ninth: Rubens Barrichello ~ see above

Tenth: Adrian Sutil ~ someone has to fill this spot

Pole: Sebastian Vettel ~ He knows no limits!!!

Watch out for the wall everyone!!!

For all the players who included Sergio Perez in their picks, their scores for Perez will be based on the results of Pedro de la Rosa who is replacing him temporarily

Thanks jido for the graph

It is interesting looking at the date this way as there is an almost clear cut between the drivers picked for the top 5 positions and the rest!

Pretty cool!
