Even with the most recent caution, if both Mutoh and Patrick play their next stops to perfection, they could find themselves, to quote Speed's Steve Matchett, "in the pound seats" come late in the race.................

And I thought I was cynical.......quoting Curt Cavin's Twitter feed..................
This race is over. It will be either Dixon or Dario.

There's still over 100 laps left, Curt!

Of the top-5 at the moment, Mutoh and Patrick will be the first to make their final round of stops.........however, Patrick went 7 more laps than Mutoh on that first stint

The big risk is that a caution comes out during their stops; should that happen, their chances of winning tonight go right out the window..............

There is one factor that could keep either Mutoh and/or Patrick from winning tonight...............even though everyone else will have to stop, they won't have to take as much fuel as Mutoh or Patrick did
