According to Speed Channel's Robin Miller and the AP's Michael Marot, there may be a transition of sorts brewing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway which could have ramifications for both the Brickyard and the Indy Racing League, which is run out of 16th and Georgetown.

According to both articles, Tony George, rather than try to wear the hats of, (a)co-owner, Vision Racing, (b)CEO, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and, (c)CEO, Indy Racing League, is expected to concentrate more on his co-ownership of Vision Racing and overall aspects of the IRL's IndyCar Series(which isn't surprising as he has two capable assistants in Brian Barnhart[IRL President of Competition] and Terry Angstadt[IRL President of Business Operations].....)
