Practice Session 1 top-5...........................
1} Casey Stoner, Ducati Marlboro, 1:28.979 sec
2} Alex de Angelis, San Carlo Honda, 1:29.527 sec
3} Colin Edwards, Tech 3 Yamaha, 1:29.661 sec
4} Andrea Dovizioso, JiR Scot Honda, 1:29.718 sec
5} Nicky Hayden, Repsol Honda, 1:29.723 sec
--Ducati Marlboro's Casey Stoner may not particulary like Donington Park, but you wouldn't know it to watch him in the first session as he set the fastest time of the session, clearing San Carlo Honda's de Angelis by at least a half-second

Practice Session 2 top-5..........................
1} Casey Stoner, Ducati Marlboro, 1:28.253 sec
2} Nicky Hayden, Repsol Honda, 1:28.829 sec
3} Valentino Rossi, Fiat Yamaha, 1:28.909 sec
4} Colin Edwards, Tech 3 Yamaha, 1:28.969 sec
5} Alex de Angelis, San Carlo Honda, 1:28.992 sec
--Stoner continues to set the pace w/the fastest time on the combined chart, but the biggest surprise came from Repsol Honda's Nicky Hayden, who finally got the chance to run HRC's new pneumatic-valve MotoGP engine on the RC212V and repaid HRC's decision to introduce it this round w/the second fastest time of the day

Donington Park Practice Session #3 top-5........................
1} Andrea Dovizioso, JiR Scot Honda, 1:43.957 sec
2} Dani Pedrosa, Repsol Honda, 1:43.995 sec
3} Nicky Hayden, Repsol Honda, 1:44.526 sec
4} Anthony West, Monster Kawasaki, 1:44.528 sec
5} Sylvain Guintoli, Team Alice Ducati, 1:44.817 sec
They say a wet racetrack equalizes the competition and today's third practice session was no exception, as JiR Scot Honda's Dovizioso was fastest on a wet Donington Park circuit; while it wasn't a surprise seeing both Repsol Honda riders at the top of the charts, it was a surprise seeing both Monster Kawasaki's West and Alice Ducati's Guintoli in the top-5 for the session
