Rossi on point in Mugello........

For the 50th time in his MotoGP career, "the Doctor", Valentino Rossi, put on a clinic in qualifying on a dry track in sunny conditions to capture the pole at Mugello(the pole was Rossi's first since last year in Catalunya)..............

Over the years, certain things have become intertwined in the MotoGP world.........like, say......Valentino Rossi winning at Mugello. For the 7th consectutive year, the Doctor operated on the rest of the field, winning his 91st career MotoGP race in the process. Rounding out the podium were Ducati Marlboro's Casey Stoner and Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa.
