Jorge Lorenzo grabs his 3rd Pole position of the season making it 3 out of 3. His pole time was a 1:35.715 beating the Pole record set by Rossi in 2006 by more than 4 tenths.

First he captured pole on Saturday, took fastest lap during the race earlier today.............then Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo finished off the weekend by winning the bwin.com Grand Prix of Portugal, becoming the second driver to take the win, the pole and fast lap at Estoril(Alex Barros, back in 2005, was the first to do so......)......rounding out the podium were his chief nemesis, Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa and his Fiat Yamaha teammate, Valentino Rossi.

There were two retirements during the race, both due to crashes................
