Is the v8 contest being run this year? I looked the other day for any info but couldn't find any, so assumed that there weren't any races yet. Then today I find that there was one today in Adelaide. Is Julian still around?

Not that picking them is hard but picking the same ones that come up on saturday night or whatever night you play is totally different.... but then you knew that didn't you?

Surfers Paradise to remain on V8 calendar through 2013......
Here is the ar1.com link to the story................
Gold Coast Indy secured for another 6 years
One of the big question marks following the merger of ChampCar and the Indy Racing League was the future of the Surfers Paradise race on the NA motorsports calendar(currently it shares equal billing with the V8 Supercar series)....according to the above story, event organizers traveled over the weekend to Indianapolis to discuss the event with IRL officials; the agreement ensures that the event remains on the schedule through 2013 including a 20th anniversary celebration in 2010

Forgot about that......sometimes I get real ticked at their opinions(they can be a tad bit anti-IRL, anti-NASCAR, ant-Grand Am, etc.), but their news and opinion coverage is worth the subscription cost.GhoGho wrote:Sorry m subscription required to access the site

This event is not part of the championship this year due the late merger of the two competitions (IRL & ChampCar).mlittle wrote:Here is the ar1.com link to the story................
