This is the place to discuss everything related to the thirteenth round of the 2007 season taking place at Monza between the 7th and 9th of September.

The event timetable for the Italian Grand Prix.

Friday
1st Practice 10:00 local time - 08:00 GMT
2nd Practice 14:00 local time - 12:00 GMT

Saturday
Practice 11:00 local time - 09:00 GMT
Qualifying 14:00 local time - 14:00 GMT

Sunday
Race 14:00 local time - 12:00 GMT

First practice session underway.

15 minutes into the session with no set times yet. Only installation laps.

Air temperature is 20 degrees while track temperature is 26 degrees.

Vettel on a timed one now!

Vettel is the first to set a time (1:26.754) followed by Liuzzi.

Trulli now fastest with a 1:25.303 followed by Ralf Schumacher

35 minutes into the session and the top 8 are: Trulli, Fisichella, Kovalainen, Schumacher, Rosberg, Coulthard, Webber and Sato

Raikkonen on track and so is Massa

Raikkonen fastest with a 1:23.055, Massa in 3rd but could improve on this lap!

30 minutes remaining and the order is: Raikkonen, Massa, Hamilton, Kubica, Fisichella, Kovalainen, Trulli and Rosberg.

Heidfeld on the track while the McLaren mechanics continue working on Alonso's car!

Heidfeld in 6th. He ran the soft compound.

Alonso is in his car ready for his first timed run!

Hamilton improves but remains in 3rd. He is very aggressive over the kurbs.

Alonso finally makes it back on the track

Hamilton continues to improve but remains in 3rd. Just 0.172 behind fastest man Raikkonen.

Alonso in 4th but pits after just 2 flying laps!

Session over - Top 8: Raikkonen, Massa, Hamilton, Alonso, Rosberg, Button, Fisichella and Kubica.

The top 4 are separated by 0.394 seconds.

Of the top 4, Raikkonen covered the most number of laps with 20, Hamilton covered 18, Massa 17 while Alonso only managed 12 laps
