Cool! I get to be first to pick this time!!

For Monaco:
:1st: Two Time WDC, Fernando A.!!
:2nd: Fabulous Ice Man, Kimi R!!!
:3rd: Incredible Record Making Rookie, Lewis H.!!!!
4th :bounceg: World's Sweetest Brazilian, Felipe M.
5th :bouncest: World's Fastest Pole, Robert K.
6th :twinb: World's most elegant driver, Giancarlo F.
7th :tramp: Best Sport in F1 and everyone's favorite drinking buddy, David C.

8th  unluckiest Rookie Ever, Heikki K.

POLE :super: Who Else?? Fernando, best moper since Ralphie

As all of you intelligent gents and ladies can see, I have gone off the deep end, hoping against hope that this race results in something close, again, to a four-way tie. By that, I mean I expect, by picking him, to put a hex on Fernando --and furthermore, if St. Joseph has any influence at all, Felipe too. But even if I fall into the fifth century, I will be doing handstands of joy if Lewis or Kimi wins!!

Jim Watt

:ROTFLMAO: :woohoo:

Tone the colours down Jim, fer gawds sake.....tis early. 8)

Now for some realistic picks

pole...Hambone

Race places

Hambone....flag to flag
Massa
Kimi
Alonso
Webber
Kubrika
Trulli

All those behind Ralf, and one immediately in front will DNF. 8)

This track requires the greatest downforce of all of them, so I think Adrian might have something ready. It will be interesting to see how the boys cope with the first race on the "supersoft" Potenzas.

True. Yet Nick has a good car and if he qualifies high enough he won't let anyone pass. This also being the reason behind my pick of Kubica...

Hey, Ed !, given that this circuit puts more demand on the cooling systems......(ie, if the car is not going forward in clean air.......the only way these cars are cooled).........
Who is on 1st engine cycle ?????.....sorry, I can't remember
Monaco really is an engineers' nightmare..........cut notches in the steering arms so the guys can turn enough........raise the cars 5-8 mm...........lessens downforce, and mechanical grip......create masssive downforce.......soften the suspension so much, so that the bumps don't blow the diff ellectronics becauase one wheel is in the air so much more than the other.....lessens mechanical grip because the car is not as balanced......compensate by tuning (detuning) the traction control.....a tyre that has never been raced on before.......how good is the mechanical grip compared to other teams..............chuck some atmospheric precipitation into the mix.........Move over Ross Brawn.........I am on the couch with this one..........except......bugga........those idiots on ITV
So waddya reckon Ross, lets go see what we can do for Toyota.........what's that Ross?.....can't quite hear you.....oh!....."mobile reception is bad near the wind tunnels in Cologne"...........

One of them may try to uphold a red car tradition at Monarco towards the end of Q3 and get tboned by the hambone.. :D

The Heretic.......Controversy Corner.

Finished counting your dinero yet?
Ye of Controversy Corner .......tis all your fault......you got me in to all of this.......then abandoned me, as if I were nought but a wayward pup......so I went on, alone into the forboding dark unknown, with less than a gentle fondle of my labrador - like ears to guide me.........only to be seduced by the carnivous others who lurk within............yet no other of an heretical ilk stands alongside, much less back to back.........Who stands!!!! To fight the good fight against the Evil Twins????? Who, amongst thee, will turn ploughshare to sword, quill to "fevver", nib to arrowhead..........biodiesol be damned.........shuffle off the Monk's trappings, Both Heretical and Controversial, Tis time to take up the the slack of those who doth protest but do nowt. Do you not still love the Formula? Have ye abondoned us for another??? Boats???
To Arms.....To Arms.....To Arms.......for the danger is greater now than it has been before.
You may yet stem the tide.
