In numoerous threads I've bemoaned the lack of ovals on the 2007 ChampCar schedule; if they do return to the calendar, hopefully they'll include a couple of long-distance oval races......
One of the better in recent memory was the 2001 CART race at the 2-mile California Speedway in Fontana, Ca., the Toyota 500; the race was won by Cristiano da Matta by inches over Max Papis.
