The Call for Picks emails have been sent to all players. If you haven't received yours, please PM or email me to follow up and resolve.

On this thread you can show us your picks (if you wish of course) and tell us why your pick is the winner!

Click here to submit your picks

Please note:
Vitantonio Liuzzi replaces Christian Klien at Red Bull
Alexander Wurz replaces Juan Pablo Montoya at McLaren (as this is only a temporary replacement, Montoya still appears on the driver list and by picking him you'll be scored on Wurz's result)

Good Luck

Sixth: Ralf Schumacher - Because he is an underrated F1 driver

My ranking will improve now that Michael Schumacher will win the remaining 16 races.

My Picks (subject to change of course should anyone persuade me to think otherwise)

Winner: Fernando Alonso - don't know how he can be beaten
Second: Giancarlo Fisichella - 2nd best driver in best car
Third: Mark Webber - excellent driver who is set to perform
Fourth: Kimi Raikkonen - he is quick
Fifth: Jarno Trulli - will continue his good season
Sixth: Juan Pablo Montoya - quick but not as quick as kimi
Seventh: Nick Heidfeld - same as JPM. good but not in MW class
Eighth: Ralf Schumacher - will round out top 8
Pole: Michael Schumacher - tyres or car will crap out before the race ends

here's hoping for a good race. i can feel a massive first corner pile-up coming on,though it might just be the weather changing under the tree!

Why ? Your picks look good however Fisichella may not be as strong, one of the BAR's may not blow up, Coulthard may somehow find a way into the top 8  Confused ? Well when you are 3rd in the competition you don't know how to pick cause it is most likely that I'll drop back.

I don't know why I am such a pessimist today. Must be the F1 drought

Good Luck with the Provisional

As long as F1 is the only drought, it is totally understandable. I was starting to twitch 3 days ago

it was a tough call leaving DC out but i had to make a choice between him & ralf and i just think the toyota will have too much pace for the Red Bull.

Fisi is one i'm not confident of. Am thinking i may swap him and kimi over or even bump MW to 4th (fisi 3rd).

Then there is Ferrari, IF the bridgestones & the engine last, one will obviously figure somewhere in there. Not likely though!

Can't be sure about BAR, even though they haven't finished a race they haven't been quick either.

If MW can't get in the points, he might tag Ralf for the sheer hell of it

Why not!!!! That's what everyone not in the top 8 should be doing....It would get more people watching knowing that in the last 5 -10 laps all those not fighting for points, + Rubens if MS needs someone taken out, were given strict instructions to take out any car in front, behind or even those in the top 8 as the lap them...more viewers = more money afterall.

On a side issue, is there anyone out there that actually expects BAR to finish at Imola?

If so, Why?

Just need some help with my 8'n'Pole

Yes I do. Preview shortly

But as Lance said, they have done very well in testing.

It is only a matter of time to translate the strong testing results into strong race results.
They will be using fresh engines as well.

Have a look at the results from last weeks testing :croc:

their testing results last week showed promise BUT they could've had low fuel loads & not over exerted their engines whilst others ran with full race fuel loads. I don't fully trust testing results....its promising, though i think i'll reserve judgement until after Imola...

i suppose we now have another 2 teams (if you include ferrari) that should now be contesting at least for points if not podiums & wins.

BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!
