Thanks GhoGho for the initial post. Had to modify a bit

The Renault team launched their 2007 contender (the R27) in Amsterdam.

Renault F1 Team President Alain Dassas said:
Double championship success in 2005 and 2006 has earned Renault its status as a major force in Formula 1. Our Formula 1 championship success is a benchmark of excellence that we aim to meet in every area of our operations. The Renault F1 Team’s performance culture reflects the ambitious objectives of our company-wide plan, Renault Commitment 2009. Consecutive double championships are concrete proof that Renault can win in a demanding environment where success demands quality, technical excellence and reliability.

We must now live up to that reputation. The team will present a fresh face to the world with the arrival of ING as our new title partner, and we are proud to welcome this major, global financial institution to Formula 1. But on track, our challenge will remain the same: we will be asking our technical teams and drivers to make Renault a championship contender in 2007.

So much for the fake liveries

Interesting that the Orange isn't as dominant as I thought.

In my opinion Renault will finish third this year. Fisi is good to collect points but I don't see him as quick enough to win races without the big names not finishing. I'm not to sure about Kova as a driver.

I like it too. Reminds me of those old Williams-Renault cars back in the 80s :)

Yeah I'd have thought that ING would have insisted on featuring orange more prominently. Then again they have two large logos sitting where everyone can see em.

Echoing my thoughts, except that I think Kovalainen will score more points than Fisi :)

What's interesting, no one seems to have much faith left in Renault... Watched a program today with Briatore as guest. He says that Renault will surprise everyone and continue to be strong to end up with the third consecutive WCC. He did not explicitly mention WDC but I guess that comes with the package... Now personally I don't see Fisi crowned WDC. As for Kovalainen... He's a rookie yet and there are quite a few good opponents in competitive cars. I guess Briatore spoke too big too soon this time. But then he has to show that confidence.

Looks cool on the Renault though :) Maybe you should adopt a similar color scheme for your kart. Blue-orange-white perhaps?

Tis a bit tricky considering the body-work it came with is all yellow :? I have tried to break it up with a bit of black and orange....
