One thing that disturbs me... My buddy did not tell me if the total of 74 was supposed to be in our picture or the big one he saw. Should the latter be true our search for additional bands could prove in vain.

That bikini in the shop window made me google for band names. I came up with "Bikini Kill". Guess that's one more to add to the list.

Must admit I kept looking at that but just could not come up with anything. I only thought of Black Box cause I was listening to Ride on Time.

Now I am trying to resist the urge to google every little thing on that picture in an attempt to find another obscure artist

Any thoughts on the yellow guy under the "shop" sign... or the blue thing behind him. I can't even tell what that blue thing is.

I will meet my buddy again tomorrow. Could ask him if he remembers those.

It would be nice if he had the list. T-k doesn't so I am not sure that we will ever know the answers.

A list he won't have. He might be able to remember though, if we're lucky. I guess I could remember most if someone asked me about the picture and pointed at a particular object thereon.

Apparently this is a Virgin promo for "72 Bands" but people have found more

[google]Virgin[/google] is now a global brand name created by Richard Branson. I think he started with mail order record music but now covers airlines, finance, communications, who know next step would be media if not already in it!!
