News On F1 Forums - Talk Formula 1

I remember seeing a FIA regulation page in the NewsOnF1 regulation section that showed all the mechanical specs that an f1 car must pass.

It also included a top, side, and front view of a F1 car passing all the bodywork requirements. I'm hopeing to find those images again .

Does anyone here know what I'm talking about, and if so, could you help point me in the right direction?

I want to model a F1 car in Maya, but I'm having the hardest time finding good source images, but I've only been able to find those 3/4 perspective images (the ones giving an 'at an angle' shot of the car).

I am not sure about the page you are referring to, but here is a good source for what you are looking for (I think). Look for the technical drawings.

I wouldn't leave you guys hanging.

I'm deciding weather or not to 3d model a regular F1 Car, or try a slight variation of the CDG Wing concept.

I like the downforce effect their going for, but the design looks goofy to me.

Maybe I'll try both wing designs with one base body style.
