The 2006 8 'n' Pole Competition - Final Results
Congratulations to JD on winning the 2006 8 'n' Pole Championship.
JD wins the Grand Prize of a ?250 British Pounds (Gift Certificate from BookF1) towards a 2007 Grand Prix ticket.
SILVERFOX wins the 2nd prize. $150 United States Dollars (Gift Certificate from a choice of suppliers including Amazon.com or equivalent from Amazon.co.uk in British Pounds).
Ogie wins the 3rd prize of $100 Australian Dollars Gift Certificate from The Pitstop Bookshop.
4th to 10th place finishers:
mario arriola, dinosh_12, BA, Greg, Smekoslav, Will, Luciano, Bairdy and
Filip-Daniel each win a NewsOnF1 Stopwatch (1/100th of a second) with clock and alarm.
11th to 15th place finishers:
asrar, Schuman, Puerta and Scooby each win a NewsOnF1 Compact Smart Digital Clock with Alarm.
16th to 20th place finishers:
Hayama, Beno, Andrew, MickDaSlick and pats each win a NewsOnF1 AM/FM pocket radio.
Highest score in a single round:
Estuardo Avila wins a NewsOnF1 Professional Binoculars (8x21mm magnification) with pouch.
Biggest winning margin in a round:
Kev and dinosh_12 each win a NewsOnF1 Professional Binoculars (8x21mm magnification) with pouch.
Congratulations to all the winners. Each will receive a separate email with more details on how to claim their prize.
In the meantime, can all the winners please provide a comment on the 2006 8 'n' Pole Competition on this thread.

Somehow I seemed to do better on the weekends that I never submitted my picks

Well done to all the winners especially JD for winning the competition
Only once did I make it into the top 5 and that was early last year. It is very hard to stay up there
Next year I will try and hopefully without my handicap I will get into the top 20

I only managed 9th this year
This was a great season although I think 2007 might be a even BETTER and more exciting F1 season...
