All Right, Lads (& Lady er, or Ladies?)

I got on here late, expecting to find a quarrel going on and all kinds of predictions based on last year's miserable michael performance in China and secret information leaking out of woking that some kind of engineering revolution has occurred at the Ilmore secret testing grounds at Peenemunde which will make the badged Merc invulnerable...

and what do I find? M Little, Jac Fan and one other (sorry mate, my feeble brain has already lost not only your pics but your bloody name as well!

and there's only five hours to go. I must be lost, (as usual)

probably tomorrow I'll find out that you all posted your real pics over on some other mysterious thread

It's just end of season paranoia

anyway here's mine, with my (ha ha ha) reasons

:1st: Fernando Alonso (because I will keep picking him till he finally wins)
Actually, though, he probably will this week because Michael couldn't find the thread last year and this year I doubt if he'll be any luckier!
:2nd: Michael Schumacher (because even when he can't find a way to win, he finds a way to get points)
:3rd: Kimi Raikonen (because even though he'll start #1, SOMEthing will fall off before the damn thing crosses the line)

4th: Felipe Massa (because he's good and he's Brazilian and he's driving a red car)
5th: Pedro delaRosa (because I love to type his name)
6th: Jense (because whether we like it or not, he's our jense)
7th: Ralph, the little bro (because he always finds a way to get points in the last few races)
8th: Fisichella (because he IS driving a Renault, isn't he?)

Pole: the flying Finn, who else Kimi Raikonnen
:woohoo:

I have no blinking idea, yet, at what time I have to set the recording device to watch the qualies, but who cares, I'll be hoisting some brews to a really exciting year with some of the best races in memory and hoping to see another!
:drink:

Julien: I hope Mark gets in the points, but I fear the Ides of just about every month there is are against him! Maybe a Red Bull will save him?
:alright:

MS will taKe out Alonso on lap 42 as Alonso attempts to put him 2 laps down.
Webbo will decide that this is the race to get square with Ralf, for all the times Ralf has nerfed him. He T-bones Ralf, and Trulli drives into both of them. The Hondas detonate simultaneously, and Fisi spins on the oil slick 37 times, there is no damage to his car, but he is too dizzy and re-enters the track going the wrong way and hits Kimi. Large pieces fall off the McLaren, taking out all of the remaining field, but the above eight.
The FIA intervenes and awards the race to MS on the grounds that the rest of the field was driving too fast, citing the new "reckless endangerment" rule. The FIA awards MS an extra point by the Stewards Trbunal under the new "slowest lap" rule. Massa is awarded second place, the RedBull Ferraris 3rd n 4th. No other points are awarded because these were the only drivers to gain a position by cutting a chicane. Alonso is given a 20 place penalty, and a 30 second drive thru penalty at the next race for "bringing the sport into disrepute" by attempting to lap MS twice in one race. He is then penalised another 20 grid spots, for questioning the original penalty. On questioning that penalty he is given a further 30 second drive thru penalty, another 20 grid spot demotion, and ordered to race on Formula Ford tyres. Learning quickly, he says nothing to anyone, and is penalised a further twenty grid spots for failing to attend the post race media interviews 8)

:rolling: :rolling: :ROTFLMAO: :ROTFLMAO: Good one Julian

From the number of grid spot penalties handed to Alonso, he will start the next race 2 laps down

Julian/Julien... not sure if there are two of you....Are you a script writer for some sort of soap opera? Neighbours or the Young and the stupid or something.... IF NOT why NOT????
Perhaps you should send your scenario to the powers that be and they could make sure that the race goes according to your script. Pity the race is not in Monaco or you could have had a lot of cars ending up in the swimming pool or even the bay for that matter.
If you don't already have a job as a script writer, I suggest you seek immediate employment at CH 9, 10 or even 7.
   :ROTFLMAO: :rolling: :bouncec: :bouncey: :drink:

My Gran used to say that when I was born they broke the mould, because the world was not ready for two of me

Bravo Julien!!

I loved the scenario and laughed until I fell out of my chair (do you think Jean Todt would stand on the podium to take the manufacturer's trophy [for having manufactured the reckless racing rule]?)

:good: :good:
Now I'm afraid the race won't be half as entertaining. I especially liked the touch about Fisi's dizzyness!! & I second Jac Fan's nomination of you as script writer for the FIA; you should win an Oscar... or wait a minute, shouldn't that be called a "Ralphie"?
