On F1 racing JV has described MS as being a liar. He goes on to say that "he has been lying to his fans and fellow drivers."

The interview will be published next week in F1 Racing magazine.

I admire JAQUES as a race driver, he was a supreme CART champion and stood on pole in his first ever F1 GP back in Melbourne 1996. After a great season with some bad luck technically he finished 2nd or 3rd and in the next year he became WDC. Ok, he had the supreme package but you still have to do that.

Re. the Jerez incident, it has been said before in various tones but MICHAEL made his error with his Go-Kart style defense of position. However JAQUES tried to pass him inside wheels on the grass and he actually didnt have his nose in front but the FIA scratched MICHAELs achievements in that year. Again I think it was one manoeuvre happening quite a few times in many GP mostly further down the field by less exposed drivers-no big deal there(so called race incidents..). In hindsight the punishment came as a late reaction on Adelaide 94...

Ever since JAQUES commented negatively on MICHAEL and its up to anyones guess whether he simply found it hard to admit that theres someone out there with superior speed.....

MICHAEL usually never paid him back as he was happy enough to let his driving speak for himself. However he still made one comment which might have put more oil into the fire when he was asked on rumours that JAQUES might become his team mate for 2000 replying "JAQUES? Unlikely, I thought we would always try to improve the team...".

Anyway, no saints out there but I cant take some of JAQUES comments seriously. Bit like EDDIE who proclaimed after his sacking from FERRARI he had to let MICHAEL pass for victory sooo many times...

JAQUES says MICHAEL wont be remembered as a legend but the truth is himself might not be.

Every driver in Formula 1 is fast. You cannot be there without overall speed. Michael excels in his superior race craft. That is the quality that distiguishes the more successful drivers. Mika Hakkinen was by far the fastest driver around for years, but he did not win his championships [or even win races for that matter] until he developed some race craft.

I have been keeping an eye on JV world and there is no news on what JV will be doing in 07. Anyone here heard anything?

He was supposed to make some sort of announcement but that has not happened... or at least not that I know of and it is not on his website.
