MotoGP of the Czech Republic (Capirossi Wins) Your Thoughts?

Post by <T-K> » Tue Aug 15, 2006 12:07 am

After a long break, the MotoGP circus swings back into action with the Czech Grand Prix.

GP events have taken place in Brno since 1930, where(up until 1982) they raced through the villages and western half of the city.

During the 1980's the new circuit was constructed with the aim of bringing Formula 1 to Czechoslovakia.

It is a fast circuit which sweeps through the hillsides, and the quick corners prove to be rather testing to the riders and engineers alike...

Circuit: Automotodrom Brno
Location: Brno

There is no such thing as Americacanada, no Australianewzealand and there is no more CZECHOSLOVAKIA!

In 1993 the country split in 2, resulting in CZECH REPUBLIC and SLOVAKIA. I know its only 13 years but one might know by now...

Loris Capirossi returns to action at Brno after MotoGP's four-week summer break partnered by Alex Hofmann.

Capirossi's full-time team-mate Sete Gibernau isn't fit to contest the Czech GP following further surgery to the collarbone he broke at June's Catalan GP.
