Aren't we all having fun

But I am still amazed how quick the others took your side  Must go to the bar more often, watch cricket, drink iced tea and know a bit more about utes
I must admit, I merely took the quote in question by Julian as the usual mutterings of a mad man. I am amazed anyone took it seriously at all.

I have liked Alonso from the start and I doubt you will find a post otherwise from me.

As we do around this time every year, we've added a page listing the possible driver line-ups for 2006. The page is available here. It will be continually updated with the latest information.

I would think any racer would jump at the chance to go to the top team of the season. I hardly think that any racer on the grid would not go to a competetive team for fear of the other driver beating him too much. Is every one on crazy pills or something. Do you guys have any idea of the ego that is required to race F1 cars??? ...
sorry for the late replay...

first, I didn't talked about fear, and didn't meant.

imo he has. in my case, he has.
rah wrote:He has not ruined Fisi's career
imo he has. GF was lot better rated before 2005.
also take into account that i said "in Renault" as Alonso has been there for some years... he knows the teams, he knows the car... the '06 car'd be made for him(for FA)...

(look at my oroginal post: viewtopic.php?p=15547#15547 )

looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so... look what Peter Sauber says about it:

"And I have to say I think it was a mistake for him to go to Renault. Why? Because, after one year with Sauber, he had an excellent reputation - but who wants him now?"

Anthony Davidson is reportedly in discusion with Midland-Jordan over a full time drive next year. He is reported to be dissatisfied with his test driver role, and lack of miles, and is not prepared to hang around waiting for a Button decision. The info was reported at Grandprix.com

With Webber coming out in the press saying he is definitely staying at Williams next year - He's definitely going to make a move. Swapping with Fisi looks the most likely.
