196 laps in the books; Wheldon leads Kanaan by about 5 carlengths but lap traffic is looming ahead of them

Wheldon stays on the gas.......Kanaan got boxed up and that could be it as Wheldon clears the lap traffic but TK got boxed up and it appears Wheldon will repeat as winner in Kansas..........

Tony Kanaan finishes 2nd, Scott Dixon 3rd and Helio Castroneves will finish in 4th........Marco Andretti finishes in 5th, followed by rookie Hideki Mutoh in 6th, Ryan Briscoe in 7th, A.J. Foyt, IV 8th, Justin Wilson 9th and Ed Carpenter rounds out in 10th......

One post-script from Kansas...............for dropping the "F-bomb" in a post-race interview on the IMS Radio Network following this past weekend's RoadRunner Turbo Indy 300, Vision Racing's Ed Carpenter was fined an undisclosed amount(in violation of Rule 8.3A of the IndyCar Series rulebook for improper conduct). :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
