- I am not from South America either
- I became the youngest driver to win a race (at the time)
- Even though I won a number of races, I never managed to get Pole position
- I was killed in a crash during testing
- I raced for my own team, a team that remains to this day

I am Bruce McLaren.

It's the winner of the 24 hour le Mans on top of other clues that made me think of McLaren.

There is a fair chance that one might get ones feet wet, if one was to walk it sans chunnel so it is part of the continent, plus drain?
