Australia have beaten South Africa by 83 runs after making a massive 377/6 of fifty overs. South Africa looked good in their chase until Smith started to suffer from cramps. Australia will take two points into the super eights.
England have made it into the super eights with a seven wicket win over Kenya in a rain reduced 47 over a side game.
Next game: Bangladesh play Bermuda in the last group game.

Cricket is a game that I've followed all my life. Along with rugby union it's the sport that I have the most passion for. It's a game that people love or hate. It's a game that not only tests a players skill level but a persons character.

Possibly the patience as well, as far as I gather from what I see a game lasts for days...

India officialy out of the World Cup.A pathetic performance considering the so called stars & legends in the team.We all are waiting eagerly for them to arrive back in India for a very warm welcome..
Half of the population here were hoping for a win for Bermuda against Bangaldesh, but thank God it didnt happens...cos these money launderers dont deserve to be in the WorldCup forget Super 8.
Hoping to see retirement announcement from the likes of Dravid,Tendulkar atleast..but aint gonna happen
Australia & South Afria looks strong favorites...i'm hoping for the jinx of host winning the world cup for the first being broken

As Kapel mentioned India are out after Bangladesh had a seven wicket win over Bermuda under the D/L method. It's going to be interesting to see if India's next coach is from within or another outsider.
The four sides that start the super eights with two points are Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies. The other four sides in the super eights are South Africa, Bangladesh, England and Ireland.

I can't see the West Indies getting the required runs to win. With the match going into a second day it's going to be tough on the Windies as they will now play three days in a row. The Windies play New Zealand Friday morning (NZ time).
It should be a good match tonight between South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Sure its three days in a row, but with a good rest between fielding and batting should work in their favour

Australia completed their match against the West Indies, winning by 103 runs. Australia never looked like losing.
South Africa did their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Sri Lanka made 209 in their overs and South Africa who at one stage was 160/2 and 206/5 had a one wicket win. Malinga for Sri Lanka took four wickets of consecutive balls.
Tonight West Indies play New Zealand.
