Correction on the latter bit of info; Briscoe now sits in 2nd as he made a wide-n'-high pass through one around Marco :shock: :shock:

the #26's over-the-wall gang laying out tires for an expected stop.....here he comes down pitlane..........hits the marks, four tires and 22 gallons of ethanol in and away he goes!......reenters around 14th or so...........

Castroneves has really stretched out his lead; now up by 6.5+ seconds over teammate Briscoe.....

Interesting thought........is it just me or is little ole' Marco on a 2-stopper? I mean he didn't pit during the second caution and unless I'm off my rocker any(... :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock: ......) everyone else will have to make at least 2 more stops; there's an outside chance Kanaan and Rice might also have to make 2 more stops as well..... :?: :shock:

Race control reporting that PT's radio has gone out completely; they're using old-style pitboards to communicate w/PT

Helio still leads by a mile............lead now over 7 seconds from Briscoe :shock: :shock: :shock:

.....CAUTION'S OUT!! Race control reporting that the #23 of Townsend Bell has stuffed it into the tirewalls arounds turns 2-3..........somebody tell Helio his "country mile" lead just went "buh" and "bye".........

Race control reporting that most of the teams have tires laid out on pitlane for upcoming stops.......listening to the IMS feed, some of the teams may be thinking of going for broke and trying to make it on just the one more stop...... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Race control reporting that the #6 of Ryan Briscoe spun out in turn 9; however, he kept it lit and got back onto the track, so no local yellow......and who'd thought, Quattro's leading......ON A ROAD COURSE!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:
