did you see how Nick passed Alonso????
did you see how Webber passed Alonso???
bad memory??? selective memory???
ok I see It is indeed selective memory:julian mayo wrote:sgd wrote:Of course I'm not. why?rah wrote:

Have you been at the Wodka, again SGD![]()
Nick had a dream run, letting Webber use up his vehicle and tyres pressuring Alonso. Then the team stuffed Webbers chances and he had to drive the ring out of the thing to make up ground. When Alonso,'s tyres were stuffed, Nick sailed past him. Webber had used up a lot more rubber and it was a much more impressive display when he passed Alonso TWICE.
Drive of the day? Montoya, for positions gained. Kimi for blowing every body to the boondocks, Webber for applying sustained CLEAN pressure
Might be an idea to read the team statements, SGDsgd wrote:ok I see It is indeed selective memory:julian mayo wrote:sgd wrote:

...Absolutely Forgot 1st pistop... NH waiting behind MW...
"letting Webber use up his vehicle and tyres pressuring Alonso."
don't make me laught!! going behind & pressuring Alonso he only could SAVE tyres and fuel!!!!! didn't you see those lap times? again selective memory? Please don't be so blind!!
btw NK also was pressuring Alonso... but for much less time, WHY????
BECAUSE HE OVERTOOK HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
only after that your SuperWebber tried 3 times only to do it cutting the corner. while NH did it CLEAN in hist FIRST attempt!!!! that was blood good!!
as i said before: Nick - driver of the race, giving Webber lessosn on how to overtake (although Webber after 3 attempts couldn't do it as beautiful as Nick!!)
n.b:Webber did his BEST 1st sector on the last lap... think about it...
Overtaking Move Of The Race
Lap 71 Nick Heidfeld, BMW-Williams on Alonso
Considering Monaco is a place where you can’t overtake Nick made the most superb overtaking move coming out of the tunnel to get past Alonso.
Television cameras tend to straighten out the road there which curves down to the chicane, but Nick spotted his moment and came very late up the inside of Alonso – who is NOT an easy man to overtake.
When Heidfeld made the lunge, you felt certain that he hadn’t left enough braking distance and that the BMW-Williams would go sliding, slithering on over the chicane. In fact he got the car stopped and turned in neatly – it was a beautiful thing to watch. Textbook.
