How true; some of the best sounds in all of motorsports, Conduit, are the full-throated sounds of LeMans Prototypes roarin' down the Mulsanne during the 24......next, of course, to the sounds of 33 wound-up, screamin' eagles headin' down the front-stretch at Indy to start the 500 on Memorial Day Sunday......The Conduit wrote:But only for brief periods of life, yes?jacfan wrote:Yes. Others might well be disconsolate, were they denied silvery sounds of stimulation. Perhaps even for 24 Hours.
Le Mans is nothing to me in the the absence of the sounds of the Machinery racing.
I was fortunate to be a guest at Mount Panorama in Australie, during a visit last year. An aquaintance was competing.mlittle wrote:How true; some of the best sounds in all of motorsports, Conduit, are the full-throated sounds of LeMans Prototypes roarin' down the Mulsanne during the 24......next, of course, to the sounds of 33 wound-up, screamin' eagles headin' down the front-stretch at Indy to start the 500 on Memorial Day Sunday......The Conduit wrote:But only for brief periods of life, yes?jacfan wrote:Yes. I have KT Tunstall's 'Eye of the Telescope'. It is an album that both I and Mrs CM really enjoy.mlittle wrote:Been listening to some different music over the past few days, mainly Diana Krall and KT Tunstall; check out their music if you get the chance........

The sounds of those V8cars arriving en mass to the last turn, at the first lap were unforgettable. The very ground shook.
One never knows what Dr. Jekyll and the Vampire(a/k/a Max and Bernie) are up to these days....The Conduit wrote:for now I am listening to the gnashing of my teeth, while I wait for the next ludicrous act of stupidity from Macchiavalian Max and his cronies.
