Le Mans is nothing to me in the the absence of the sounds of the Machinery racing.

I was fortunate to be a guest at Mount Panorama in Australie, during a visit last year. An aquaintance was competing.
The sounds of those V8cars arriving en mass to the last turn, at the first lap were unforgettable. The very ground shook.

I have KT Tunstall's 'Eye of the Telescope'. It is an album that both I and Mrs CM really enjoy.

Try standing next to a Top Fuel dragster.........the Richter scale'll hit a 2.5 right as they launch down the qrt.-mile......
