Thanks. Cricket's never been my long suit anyway :)
its easy, one side goes in til they are out, then the other side goes in til they are out, then the first side goes in til they are out then the second side goes in til they are out
Easy as pie :) I remember coming across a game on Fox. Watched for 3 minutes, didn't understand jack, switched to a movie. About 5 hours later I happened to return to find out that the game was still going on. Then I went to bed. To my complete amazement it was still continuing next day. It was a ludicrous score like 1000-4. That was the one and only time I had a go at understanding cricket :)

Come to think of it I don't like baseball either. No surprises there I guess.

I'm just going to ignore Australia vs England and seek solace in Pakistan vs West Indies, the score there is far more to my liking :P :o Oo we're going to Barbados 8)

:o I don't like cricket
Oh no
I love it 8)
but the Ashes series is 5 tests, Snowy
We both know the score  Care to bet against your team I'll give you phenominally good odds  8)

Oh it's just like '81 only at the beggining and not the end, though I don't believe for one minute that England is gonna put up much of a fight. They celebrated too much last time and have still to get rid of their beer bellies.

Ian Botham and Bob Willis with a little help from Denis Lillee won the Ashes for England! :P Botham had been sacked as Captain for the third test on the back of two really poor perfomances. Mike Brearley was given the Captaincy for no other reason than nobody else wanted the job. Australia started the third test the way they'd begun the others by demolishing England with bat and ball. The match was so far gone that Denis Lillee was tempted by Ladbrokes odds of over 700-1 against England winning it. He bet ?10 that England would win! The Gorilla found form with the bat, scoring 149no taking England into 58 run lead making Australia bat again. Up stepped Bob Willis who took 8 wickets for 43 runs and winning the test. Denis won seven and a half grand! England took off on a wave of joy and won the series 3-1! It was a very great win for England and we speak of it often, I can't believe you haven't heard about it.
