Montoya is a Fool. It was obvious as soon as his McLaren deal was announced that he would have a rubbish season with Williams and throw his toys out the pram, and that upon arrival at McLaren he would not be as fast as Kimi, he would not be consistent throughout the season, just like at Williams, all he is capable of is being a nuisance to his team-mate and blowing allot of hot air and taking time and effort away from those who are serious about their job, I really can't see Alonso wanting to share a team with him, I mean he might but it wouldn't be pretty. It wouldn't surprise me if Montoya made a big money move to Toyota, it would seem to suit their marketing strategy and Motoyas wallet. He isn't in the same class as Alonso or Raikkonen, and they're a way off Michael.

As for Renault, they're quitters. They've done it before and they'll do it again. Ferrari are the only truly committed team in F1 to F1, Renault just flit in and out whenever it suits them, screw their partners and the sport.

Alonso just has to hope that Mclaren can make a good car and Merc can make a non-exploding engine. The move could be catastrophic in the wake of the Newey departure as well as the others that have left, you just don't know right now how they will handle it unless anyone has some serious insider information, anyone?

And HOW do you know Flav wasn't involved in Alonsos' move? He has to say he wasn't involved or he'd get himself in some serious sh**, he just let go of the first dude to win a championship for Renault since '97 without having a proven replacement. HE WAS INVOLVED, I don't buy that cr*p (read in silly childish accent) "er Alonstho went behind my back and sealed a multi million dollar racing contract all by himself, I mean what a sthneaky little so and so, how dare he now I'm really angry but I'm still gonna manage him and take a cut even though he's perfectly capable of negotiating with some of the hardest negotiators in F1 all by himself, and treats me like I'm not even there" COME ON!!! HE WAS IN ON IT, HE'S TAKING A FAT WEDGE OF GREEN OFF RON AND HE'S LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO HIS PRIVATE BANK IN THE CATACOMBS OF HIS KENYAN HOLIDAY CASTLE.

As for Massa it doesn't matter if Schui's there or not Massa aint gonna be in that race car. Not unless Rossi has a biking accident or decides that F1 just isn't for him. And there have been reports in the European media for the last five years about Kimi and Ferrari.

OH yeah and you see your signature JayVee, would it possible for Alonso to win in F1 on anything other than Michelins this season?

He isn't in the same class as Alonso or Raikkonen, and they're a way off Michael.

The last I checked, in 2004 Montoya finished 5th winning the last race of the season and beating Raikkonen on points and had more than double the points of his teammate. So no it wasn't obvious

As for being off Michael, I gave you hard facts before about Alonso and Michael and showed you that Michael won his 1st title in the cruelest of ways whereas Alonso won his in style with 2 races to spare, and at a younger age. Comparing both, so far in his career Alonso is AHEAD of Michael.

At least with Renault we've seen an amazing acheivement of being able to return to the sport and beat everyone in RECORD time. You call that screwing their partners and the sport huh ?
Screwing the fans is what Ferrari and Michael are good at doing. Win at all costs. Create a team with a driver and a helper and have blatant team orders and be so arrogant to try a photo finish at a race. That is screwing the sport.

Whether Flav knew or not, so what ? Alonso would be with Renault for 5 years at the end of 2006. It isn't surprising that he made a move. Whether he made the annoucnement now or a few month ago or in a few month is really irrelevant unless you are the media that loves makes sensational headlines. Simply, Alonso knows he is good, knows that he will get the backing of Renault and knows that he will beat whoever he partners at McLaren.

Being childish doesn't help K. It just reflects on you.

Piquet is a World Champion but was in his 14th and on his way to retirement when Michael Schumacher drove alongside him for 5 races. Can you read 5.

Perhaps you don't understand the concept of an ageing driver. You know the driver that thinks they are the best but still crash into people on their way to the grid and spin off behind a safety car. Oh that reminds me of someone who is in his 14th full season only managed to win 1 6 car entry race!

I am sure that will sink in this season when The Rebel starts to get rated just because he beats an ageing driver

As for Michelin, I don't imagine you've read reports claiming that Bridgestone would be the better tyre as tyre changes are back ? No ?

I havent even gotten out of bed yet........

I am the biggest Pablo fan in here.....he will win the championship this year just because he is good enough to beat Kimi.....and fonzi........and now I sit back and wait for K to come in here and utterly destroy my optimism for the day.......

According to "Auotaction" Renault has offered Fisi a contract for '07, which he is expected to sign in the next couple of weeks.

Renault are in a difficult position. It will be risky for them to hire two new drivers in 2007 but even then, I doubt they will confirm Fisichella this early. He needs to show that he can do well when something goes wrong.
Until this gets confirmed, it is just a rumour just like those rumours about Raikkonen and Montoya being offered drives from Renault.
I think there is only 1 seat available at Renault. Kovalainen will take Alonso's place next year. He is good and is doing an excellent job in testing.

Until Renault confirms Fisichella, anything you read in the media remains a rumour. Just like the Raikkonen rumour or the Montoya rumour.

What I said about Renault's position and Kovalainen is my opinion, I don't need to prove an opinion

There have been other rumours about MS joining Renault in 07 with Kovalainen. That would be interesting to watch and be a big coup for Flavio after his Alonso embarresment.
