Session over and the top 8 are: Massa (1:32.233), Raikkonen (+0.117), Rosberg (+0.182), Hamilton (+0.472), Kovalainen (+0.635), Nakajima (+0.888), Kubica (+1.100) and Trulli (+1.306).

Second Friday practice session underway.
A number of drivers go out straight away.
Trulli is the first to set a time with a 1:37.587.

Air temperature is at 30 degrees while track temperature is at 42 degrees.

Bourdais now fastest ahead of Nakajima and Vettel then Trulli!

Rosberg goes fastest only for Bourdais to better his time. Bourdais is on the softer compound.

Fisichella now in second with a 1:35.388 with Kovalainen in 3rd

Heidfeld fastest .... 12 minutes into the session and the top 8 are: Heidfeld, Bourdais, Fisichella, Rosberg, Kovalainen, Alonso, Kubica and Webber
There doesn't appear to be much grip on the track

Heidfeld improves with a 1:34.324, Trulli now in second.
Massa, Raikkonen and Hamilton are on the track now.

Hamilton is now fastest in S1 (he is on the softer compound)
