The funeral is this Friday... not a good day if you are supersticious. I have just finished writing/typing out what I am going to say and am exhausted. I have been flat out every day and am so tired... keep missing meals and :nap: :nap: :nap:
Tomorrow I am going in to clean up at Dad's and get all the plates etc ready for Friday afternoon tea and drinks following the funeral. Also have the viewing. Have to come home and make sure all my clothes are ready. By Saturday I will probably collapse in a screaming blubbering heap and whatever. To be honest I have not even cried a lot yet. Sure it will hit me soon.

It took me 12 months after my mum died to cry once..........then it was Dam Busters  Man, did I roar n rant, and address God, Allah, etc on a first name basis, with the odd adjective attached. mind you that was the first time I cried since I was 7.

I usually cry at the drop of a hat.. but I think I have way too much to do to even think straight. Bought waterproof mascara today so that I don't end up with Panda eyes on the day.... must get new sunnies.

Keeping busy usually helps quite a bit during tough times. If it's any consolation, we're here to listen (read) whenever you need to share the good and less-good.

Thanks GK I have been so very busy this last week and am looking forward to being able to chill out a bit next week.
I can't tell you all how much your words of comfort have meant to me over the last week and I feel truely blessed to know such a great group of people. It has helped keep me sane and given me a few a laughs during this stressful and sad time. :D
