The longer the season goes the more I want FA to win....Hamilton is starting to really bug me. What goes round comes round young fella!!

And it looks like it is starting to come round. The lack of set-up data from FA is starting have a negative effect on LH & is showing FA's all round skill.

After all there is more to F1 than merely driving fast!!

To me it was agrressive but nothing like what Michael used to do regulary.

What annoys me is that very few say good things about Alonso despite all his acheivements and as soon as they see something that could resemble an unfair move he becomes the bad guy and gets compared to Michael's bad moves.

Don't know why people like to just highlight the bad but not even mention the good. I think the best race of the season was the Nurburgring one and Alonso was just way ahead of anyone else, go read the comments people made then!
I guess people are just too surprised that someone could actually win 2 championships and about to win his 3rd and not have dirty moves on the track.
I'm just practising for when he is dressed in red next season 8)
:D :D

If he does go to Ferrari next season, it will be very sad for me.
Yes, I can well imagine. Sadder for Massa, tho. 8)

Alonso's possibilities for 2008 are Renault, Toyota and Williams. Anything other than that would mean major legal issues. So I guess it'll be some time before we see him in red overalls.

Cousin Bernice reckons that because McLaren have been found guilty as charged, both drivers are free to go wherever they want, invoking the clause which is almost mandatory in every Driver's contract,
Only a complete newbie, to any form of sport involving an engine, represented by a blind, deaf, mute, sunlight sensitive, scared of the dark, agrophobic St. Bernard with personality issues, for a manager, would not have that clause in his/her contract, she reckons :?

:D :D Cheers Jay Vee. Whenever your driver moves as dramatically as he did on the first lap, you can expect people to find the move "unsporting" if they don't like him and "gutsy" or "brave" if they do.

The more IMPORTANT thing is the result. I have slo-motioned my tape of that (on Speed TV coverage from several angles including from Felipe's car looking back at the McLarens) move by Fernando and I have to conclude, sadly, that he was more interested in blocking or preventing his team mate from getting ahead of him than he was in getting past Felipe.

If you look closely I think you'll see that had he been paying more attention to Felipe he probably could have out-braked him and gotten him on the next turn! that would not only have probably gotten him more points (I can't see Felipe overtaking Fernando in anything like comparable cars!!), it would have put Lewis even FURTHER behind him and made for a MUCH more interesting race.

Once it was clear that the Ferarris were slightly quicker than the McLarens, the WDC protected his points and cruised behind Felipe, hoping for a mistake or failure of some kind. The way Lewis struggled through the race shows that he was NEVER a real threat.

Since Fuji is a completely "new" circuit for everyone, I think Hambone will probably take the pole, followed very closely by Kimi.

Won't THAT be fun to watch!
