As long as your dart hits the Renualt as No.1 on the board, the rest is as good as any.

Third: Kimi Raikkonen - Goes well here
Fourth: Felipe Massa - No mistakes this time!
Fifth: Juan Pablo Montoya - Silly mistake costs him
Sixth: Rubens Barrichello - Starting to get the upper hand at Honda
Seventh: Nico Rosberg - Knows the track

Looks like JayVee is following the dart to Renault as well.

I'll go out on a limb here.
Thank you for submitting your 8 'n' Pole picks for the Grand Prix of Britain.
You have registered the following picks :
Winner : Kimi Raikkonen : McLaren at home and a new engine
Second : Michael Schumacher : Will possibly win
Third : Fernando Alonso : Will fail in qualifying
Fourth : Juan Pablo Montoya : Again at home but will have to look after engine
Fifth : Mark Webber : It's about time he finished a race
Sixth : Felipe Massa : Could surprise
Seventh : Giancarlo Fisichella : Same old, same old. Not fast enough
Eighth : Nick Heidfeld : Will finish best of the rest
Pole : Kimi Raikkonen

Did you do this through 8 'n pole or just post in this thread for fun?
Not that it really matters anyway. I'm still undecided on what my picks will be but will submit it by tomorrow (Thursday).
They are my tips through 8'n pole
Thanks for the encouragement. I just take a stab in dark basically.
Hell, I give it at least 30 seconds of deep pondering
Hmmm me thinks that is bordering on sarcastic
I just assumed that many of you guys would know all the nuances of the tracks and tyres etc.

Sarcastic ? never. Many of these guys devote hours to their selection, based on historical data, current performance, and for all I know, who's having a birthday, which driver has backed another at the tab, chicken entrails, gibbous moon etc. Had I the desire to do so, I don't have the time.

Basically that is why I said that I just take a stab in the dark.
However the birthday could be an issue in decision making.
Hence I did not put JV in the top 8 this week as he has just tied the knot and could have other things on his mind.
Not sure about the chicken entrails...... unless some of the drivers are using them to throw on the track to remove the competition.... perhaps that will be a new trick for MS
