Well thank god I didn't post here. But if it makes you feel better, I predicted Nick would beat him, and I reckon he still will.
There you go now you will have something to remind me of later.
rah I don't have a problem with another person's opinion. It is when people start making fun of a driver and ridiculing his efforts and skills, that is what make me angry and
Villeneuve was written off by many here and most of those made fun of him too.
Ah, I remember now that you made such remarks but not this thread rah but in another thread and I've looked and I've looked and I've looked and I've found it

(in the thread BMW Sauber confirm Jacques Villeneuve).

In recent years, I have been very critical of Jacques Villeneuve for not seeming like he is trying super hard to win races or whatever since leaving Williams and buying Team Tyrrell with Craig Pollack [forming BAR which is now Honda for you newbees]. He has had a hard road since being in undercompetitive cars, but like Marco Andretti or "mini" Al, he is auto racing royalty.
I love this kid, however. Besides being the son of the greatest driver of all time, Gilles Villeneuve, he has his father's tendency to tell it like it is with absolutely no pretention. I respect him for quiting the GPDA. How can he support the media manipulating Michael Schumacher? This has probably got him fired a time or two, but how crappy would this sport be if everyone was like Schumacher and Coulthard? I'd have to become a NASCAR fan!!!
He is in a good team, and I believe he has felt at his most relaxed while driving for Sauber [Is it any wonder? Despite being Canadian, he grew up in Switzerland where Peter Sauber was from.]. Right now, I believe the pairing of him with Nick Heidfeld is very strong.
Go JV!!!
